Hosting fairs to promote community & raise money for small direct-service charities

AGGW was founded on the premise that sometimes the most thoughtful gift you can give someone is a donation to charity in their honor. Alternative gifts fill a direct and tangible need, such as one week of school, with a daily lunch, for a child in rural Northern Ghana or a journal for recording thoughts, feelings and dreams for a girl.

Family members and friends will be touched to know that the gift they have just received will have a very real and meaningful impact on people and communities in need, especially in these extremely challenging times!

The Alternative Gift Fair supports small locally-based direct-service nonprofits. To support alternative gift fairs in future years please make a tax-deductible donation to AGGW.org, the volunteer run 501.C.3 nonprofit that has produced the Alternative Gift Fair each year since 1998.

Donations this year will cover credit card fees, our website updates, advertising, office supplies, and postage. AGGW passes along 100% of funds raised from Alternative Gifts directly to the charity organizations. Thank you for making next year's fair possible!
