Namulaba Health Center

Namulaba Health Center provides free primary health care to a rural community in Uganda.

Namulaba Health Center has provided free primary health care to a rural community in Uganda on the last Saturday of the month for seventeen years now, serving about 150 patients at each clinic day. In addition to clinical services, we train and deploy community health workers who provide health information to the community and mobilize them to attend the monthly clinic. The clinic also functions as a site for providing health promotion and prevention services from the government including child vaccinations and growth monitoring; deworming; antenatal care; and family planning services.
